Lake Quinsigamond Fishing Report

09/05/10 - Flint Pond / Quinsigamond - Worcester, MA

stayed on small area of flint pond today. very windy and a lot of speed boats out on the main lake. water level is pretty low and tons of weeds and guck. spent most of the day pulling guck off the line. we did see a monster bass surface near the boat. seriously biggest bass i've ever seen. easily 7-10 lbs. we were in about 3 feet of water full of grass. you could see the fish clear as day swimming across the top of the grass. he then hung out at the edge of the lily pads. dropped my bait in front of him several times, but he wasn't eating. other than that bit of excitement, it was a very slow day. out 6 hours till dark. ended with 4 small bass.
