  • Whoops! That comment was for the thread, not here! Haha!

  • When I was a kid and not so much in the know about catch and release, I did a lot of fishing in Canton, MA because my family owned a liquor store there. I pulled a lunker about 24 inches or so out of a little pond and took it to my dad to see if he would get it done up at the taxidermist. It was too expensive and he didn't want to. So I took it next door to Wong's Cafe and traded it to the owner for some General Gau's chicken specials for my little brother and I. We saw him fillet and gut the thing and were so surprised to see what was in its stomach... Pennies, a pencap, all sorts of weird stuff!

  • @knobcreek - Ive only been on that section once on my buddies boat, and it was a windy day, so focus was on maneuvering the boat more than fishing. Id like to get out there again on a nicer day. Everything looks fishable like most rivers.

  • This spot absolutely kills for night topwaters. I've tried fishing here around 6-7pm, but I feel like the fish are really wary or just not around then because there is so much traffic in the water up around then... 12AM - 3AM is when I have landed the biggest ones from this spot. Just pulled in a 22 in.+ last night!

  • Have you ever gone out in a boat in that general area off the ramp? You're always catching something there....thats great.
