Barton's Cove

Blackstone Valley Tourny on the Conn. River again proved to be a tough fish for all involved. I was able to entice 2 keeper smallies to bite, a 1lb and a 1 1/4 lber. Good enough for a 3rd place finish. Alot of short SM caught along w/ 1 short Lm. The cove did not score anything for me, but I found out that the lunker of the day came from the shorelineon the north side by the dam baffles. My fish came from the east side of the river, just north and south of the french King bridge. Texas rigged 4" senkos were used thrown up into current and brought along any weedy current breaks.
