Smallmouth Everywhere
Extreme Smallmouth fishing just a few short hours from Central Jersey. Fished Tues on the North Branch Susquehanna near Tunkhannock. Water is a little high and stained but the fish didn't care. 109 Smallmouth in 5 hours. 50% of the fish were in the 14-19" range. At times we had fish thru the smaller ones to get to the bigger fish. We had Double Up's, Chasers and a damn good day. Most fish caught on 3.5" Soft Swimbaits (Timmees Swimmies) on a 1/16oz head as fish were in less then 3' of water chasing bait.
