There is a nice small lake just a few blocks away from me. I drive past it everyday and have lived here for about 8years. I have fished there over the years and caught about 500 sunfish, a few catfish an eel and some small bass. But this year stories are flying about monsters in there so I figure I would put the canoe in and toss some crank baits. The water is very dirty, bottom is mud and just gross swamp smelling. average depth is about 3-4 ft. My dad on the 2nd cast pulls in a nice largermouth just under 2lbs. Dam there are some fish in here. As the day goes on and a few passes back and fourth I though I was stuck on more old burnt Christmas tress left over from winter. But then it pulled back, ya I landed a nice 4pounder! Made my day, Heard later that day a guy pulled a 6 out the week before. well I'll be stopping by there alot more now..

The Canton Res is good all around fishing. no ramp!!! car top or carry only. You can use a gas motor. Great large mouth in there. We pull a few 5 lbs out every year. maid season the weeds get pretty thick but there are fish in them so worth fighting them.

My fishing heaven. Bilighton Sea in Plymouth Ma. Fish it a few time a month and always worth talking about. But this time With Scot and MY nef. I pulled out a 7LB pickerel!! NO crap. Biggest fish I have caught. Love the fight in them. Fish 20yds of shore and drap in the weeds youll land them every time.
