lilpixiblue Just practicing my fly casting on the Ipswich River yesterday. Went to a coveted secret spot in search of trout. After much frustration and a snagged fly I moved onto some bigger pools down the river. I could hardly even practice without landing a Crappie if I tried. Landed 5 within a half hour and countless bites. Only fished for an hour before dusk.

bloomagoo Five stars for practicing your fly casting. Looks like a very narrow piece of water, not much room to cast. You are testing your skills.

lilpixiblue Perfecting that roll cast for sure, lol. Getting better at that back cast on the water too. I *attempt* to practice every day. At least, it's all that's on my mind.
